Costa Rica: Monte Verde Cloud Forest Ziplining

 Vic really wanted to visit the Monte Verde Cloud Forest on the other side of Arenal Volcano.  Even thought it looked close on the map, it was a 3 hour drive around the volcano.  My tailbone & foot were in too much pain to make the trip so he went with Roger & Jessica when they got there. I teased them that they'd get a flat tire on the crazy roads and they did!  Here they are ziplining.  Their final one was a crazy ladder that went inside an old tree and flew high above the rain forest.  It pelted them with rain!!

Costa Rica: Snorkeling

 We were told there wasn't any good snorkeling around our hotel so we were really happy when we walked around the bend and found all sorts of fish!  I love snorkeling & could do it for hours!

Costa Rica: Secrets Resort

 We went to an all-inclusive resort where we relaxed, ate a ton of gourmet food, kayaked, & went on mini hikes.  Roger & Jessica joined us for the last 5 days.

Costa Rica: Ricon De La Vieja

 We were done exploring Costa Rica, but when Roger & Jessica came we went to Ricon De La Vieja because it was the closest forest to where we were staying on the beach.  It was a lot like Yellowstone with boiling mud pots, steaming water, & waterfalls w/ a jungle twist! My favorite part was seeing a whole tribe of monkeys!
