We celebrated our 7th anniversary last month! We follow the traditional wedding gifts and this year was wool & copper. My first thought was "ug!", but I think I did well in finding some pretty fun things for this year. (I may or may not have helped Vic out a bit on his part!) Pictured below is a brooch, pink wall hanging for my black & white bathroom, & a pillow he custom ordered to match our front room. I had a copper bookmark made which took A LOT more thought than it looks like! :)
Can you believe we've been through so much in just 7 years! Each one of these lines has so much history & explanation behind them all! I sure hope the next 7 years are much less eventful, but I'm not keeping my fingers crossed.
Vic's sister was gracious enough to let us leave the kids with her while we did our 1st overnight together since Tommy was born! We only had 24 hours alone so we really tried to pack it full & get the most out of it! We drove up to D.C. to see the mall district. It is so pretty, but I feel like I'd need a week to fully get my fill of it.
Haha, me & Abe. We have a thing....and Vic has a thing for zooming in on my face at weird angles!
When we were here 7 years ago we happened upon Annapolis, Maryland & have been looking forward to coming back ever since. We still didn't get enough time in this dreamy little English town, but it was fun to window shop & get our fill of sweets.
We ended the day with relaxation on the beach & a quick swim. Oh how I love the beach. The sand here was really orange. I am a white sand girl, but I liked the variation.
We ate dinner at a fancy place on the port near our hotel on Kent Island. I am not much of a seafood fan, but I always forget how good fresh seafood is!
We really wanted to max out our day so we stayed at a hotel right on the port, walked the docks late into the night, & dreamed of owning one of these amazing yachts!
More to come on the rest of our trip when I get all the pictures!
