We did our St. Patrick's Day yesterday since Vic & I work opposite shifts today. I love the boys in their church clothes & green because they looked like 2 cute little leprechauns!
We got a bit silly :)
I had them follow the rainbow clues to see where the leprechaun hid his pot of gold!
Tommy did really good figuring out all of the clues
Sitting by the pot of gold they found!
Whitney showing her joy (since the other picture she was being weird)
The kids were so excited for this day just so they could do the scavenger hunt, but we had a lot of fun with all the green stuff we had all day. :)
We had a totally naturally green dinner this year so I didn't have to use any food dye: Spinach & romaine salad topped with asparagus, broccoli, cucumber, & avocado (and chicken); and lime jello w/ cool whip & green sprinkles. Turns out I love sprinkles on jell-o! We also had fun cupcakes from the store & mint ice cream that I forgot to get out. Mom did sneak some food dye in the dressing & tried to smear it on the toast, but it just looked burnt! G force for our green drink & watermelon for the kids.
(I want to remember for next year!)
I'm so glad we did it yesterday as here is what today looks like!
Also, at the beginning of the month we drove down to see Grandma Howard. I sure do love her! It has been years since I have seen her & I forgot how much I enjoy her company :)
We played May-I until her nurse came & got her to turn her in for the night!
P.S. We also bought a house last week, but we're still remodeling it before we get to move in a couple of weeks!

cute little kiddos! I like the rainbow treat that you made with the licorice. WE used to do a scavenger hunt until Kara started asking too many questions I couldn't figure out how to answer. Totally jealous of your trip to see Grandma Howard! Miss you guys
I'm so glad we all had such a great day playing games with my mom in February. I loved celebrating St. Patricks Day with your family.
