I have finally hit the age where I don't want another year added to my age! Before now, I have proudly claimed I was in my 20's or just barely 30, but now I am 31 and officially feel old. (even older than having 3 kids made me feel!)
First thing in the morning, I went shopping and had a sweet friend that is a stylist do my hair for me so I wore a jazzy birthday shirt to match! I felt like I needed to go get family pictures!
I have been craving a really good cake so Vic went and bought me a couple from the Coco Bean and my friend got me some from Love at 1st Bite. They were both good & fancy, but nothing seems to hit the spot! I have never been a huge cake fan my whole life, but while I was pregnant & nursing I LOVED cake. I'm starting to wonder if now I have all of those extra hormones out of me, I have my regular taste back & I don't like it any more?!
The kids both had preschool & Tucker fell asleep in the stroller so we got a date at Garcia's!
For dinner, Mom took us out to eat at Johny Carinos.
Afterwards, Mom & Mark came over for cake & ice cream.

Mark watched the kids for us so we could run up to the cabin for the night. We planned on going hiking the next day, but after a morning walk along the shore I decided a birthday date for me would be happier spent shopping & going to the movies so we drove back & did that too!
