We took a million pictures at the entrance, eating at special restaurants, & with characters & on rides, but we lost our camera that had those pictures. Thank goodness I took a few with our big camera so the entire day wasn't lost!!
The very first ride we went on Whitney wanted to show off how brave she was to go on the big roller coasters & she was loving it until this guy popped out at us! That kind of ruined it for her and she didn't want to go on any more big rides after that!
I loved dressing her up as Tinkerbelle. She got so much extra attention all day & especially at both parades. A lot of characters went out of their way to come dance in front of her, give her high five, and even tinkerbell on her giant float pointed her out from way up high. She loved all of the attention.
Tommy made this face on purpose. He didn't want anything to do with princesses or fairies.
Tommy & Tucker loved Buzz light year's ride and went on it several times.
Tommy could barely reach the pedal this year (see his tiny head peeking out). This ride quickly became his favorite ride so we went on it plenty of times as well.
He loved it even more because he got an "official" license and he felt extra big & cool to earn that!
Tommy has also been dying to go on a real submarine so I was glad to see the new Nemo ride & fulfill his wish!
Whitney loved seeing the princesses & asking them all to dance with her.
Even better than waiting to see the princesses is the new Elsa & Anna skit. Tommy kept acting annoyed that he had to stop and watch princesses, but I caught him loving different parts too. It was interesting that in the last 2 years since we did Disney World, Whitney changed to only want to do girly rides, shows, & characters while Tommy only wanted boyish rides and shows. They had to learn to be patient with each other's favorites & we split up more often this time.
I think this circus train was Tucker's favorite. He was grinning the entire time.
Whitney's favorite float during the parade.
Tommy still loves all trains so we went on the train ride around the park & I forgot how entertaining it is!
I was very happy to see that Elsa's float was an ice castle. I was hoping it would be. I'd love if they built her a permanent castle like Belle's at Disneyworld. Vic was surprised how often her songs were thrown into every show still and how the crowd still goes nuts every time her songs start!
There is rarely a line for the carousel so we did that ride a lot too.
Happy Birthday to me! It was a great day and the most birthday wishes I've ever received in my life!!
...and a little pumpkin decor since it is September!
