New Year's Eve

For New Year's Eve weekend we went to the cabin again.  While I was packing, I asked Whitney to put a box of gloves in the garage and while she was out there she saw a quarter.  It was frozen so she decided to suck on it and then accidentally swallowed it!  We waited awhile to see if her body would try to push it all the way down, but when we could tell it wasn't going anywhere, we took her in to get it taken out.  $33,000 and 2 hours later we left the hospital.  I couldn't believe the price tag!

Mom & I at the cabin.
There was so much snow, it was a winter wonderland!
We built our annual sled run, but this time we had the Drapers and the Frosts up there and the Frosts were determined to make it all the way to the lake so we had the best sled run we've ever had!
All the cousins jumping off the balcony.

This sled is the kid's favorite to ride on.
Janita and I attempted to make a snow sculpture.  We could only dig out icy chunks or powder so we couldn't do much.  Here is Santa and a tree.  We won a fun snow sled and snow molds so it was worth the effort!
Here are Amber's kids, Drapers, Frosts, and ours crawling all over the snow covered tree house.
The kids were busy playing on the tree house and the adults were busy making the best sled run so we didn't notice that one by one all of the kids were inside.  Finally we noticed that it was just us 6 adults out there with 13 kids inside with my mom & Mark.  They were good sports and didn't mind watching the kids while watching us adults out acting like kids!
Janita and Vic were the last ones out playing on the sled run until late!
We did a dance party for the kids at 10pm and called that midnight, then the adults stayed up until midnight playing games.  It was a fun weekend!
