Miller Reunion with Dad

We did the 1st part of the week as a reunion with Mom & the second part with Dad.  Jason had to leave early, but here is the rest of us all together with Grandma Hill.
We went to Rigby Lake during the day.
It has been a really long time since I've been there & it has improved a lot!
We went there to swim, but I think the kids played in the sand most of the time.

My kids love getting buried in the sand.
Whitney was buried in the sand too, but as I was walking up to take her picture Tucker threw two hands full of sand right on her face so this is all I got!
Lana made us all a feast for dinner & Becky decorated these cute little hot dogs into drivers.
   hanging out & talking...

We're all so spread out right now!  (for my records)
Katie in Florida, Ben in Missouri, Me in Idaho, & Jason in Oregon.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July!
We had a good hot day!
Here we all are decked out in our red, white, & blue.
We went to the parade 1st thing in the morning.  The kids really liked it, but it sure was hot!
We had a picnic with my oldest brother Jason in the park afterwards, but I forgot to take a picture!
After that, we went home & made fruit pizza to look like flags & brownie bites with flags on top.
The kids love baking in the kitchen & I love when I can give them all
away to stop myself from eating the whole batch! :)
Mom paid for us to have a spot right in front of the boat dock where the fireworks go off.
We had a barbecue, played games, & had a perfect view of the fireworks!
She also gave our kids lots of messy sugary treats so they were pretty dirty by the end of the night!!!
Here is our whole group that was together for the fireworks.
This one is pretty fuzzy... guess the stranger didn't know how to focus my camera!
The kids entertained themselves quite a while with glow toys.
Tucker & Evie playing catch with that little blue glow ball.
We did fireworks the next night.  Whitney & Tommy started off brave.
The sparks flying around Whitney's head scared her so she held the rest out as still & far away from her as she could!

Vic Showed Tommy how to do a nice big circle...
Tommy couldn't keep his steady so here's what his looked like!
Tommy loved all of the fountain fireworks, especially the ones that did random high pitched whistles in the middle of it.  He'd be so excited he'd jump up & down and exclaim "yes!" or "oh ya!".

Family Reunion Time- Millers with Mom

The kids have been counting down to when their aunts, uncles, & cousins came to Idaho so we made a little sign to pass the time.
Katie, my mom, & I went to Amber's paint studio to do these flags. It was fun!
We went up to the cabin with everyone. Here we are having a picnic in the paddle boat.

If only I could end every night on a hammock by the lake, it was nice to de-stress in!
Playing in the cabin: Katie, Kiersten, Kara, Brennon
The kids playing barbies with Aunt Becky
I forget how much I like to play volleyball.  This was probably my favorite activity.
Brennon & Vic were good sports to have the kids on their shoulders for awhile.
 Ben's "Foncy, Fancy" spike

My mom did junior olympic games for the kids.  Tommy & Whitney tied on the frog hop so we had them have a hop off (and Whitney decided to join too!)
1st to 5th place.  (notice Tommy's pout face!)
Baseball throw metals... Tommy's a bit happier this time because he placed in the top 3 to get a cool dinosaur award.  Whitney was thrilled to come in last every time :)
Here they are racing. I love Kiersten's sporty form in this one!
The adults did a race too & I sure wish I had a picture of that!!! ...and I wish I wasn't in the race so I could have watched everyone else run :)
Swim race
All of them proudly sporting their awards.
After that, our family  played in the water for awhile.  Everyone else thought it was too cold.
After dinner I did a pirate treasure hunt for the kids.
They had to follow a compass to find each clue.
I love this one of Kara & Kiersten pointing the way & Whitney in her own little pirate world!

...getting close to the end!

campfire time!
Mom with all of her kids.  This is the only picture we got with everyone the entire week!!!
