May Update

Having a newborn around the house makes for nothing much to update about!  I was trying to take a picture of Tucker at 2 1/2 months in my favorite newborn outfit handed down from Tommy & of course Tommy had to pop in the picture with his buddy.  He LOVES Tucker & is always wanting him hauled around the house so Tucker can watch whatever he is doing.
I got to see Vic for about 45 minutes on Mother's Day so he had me hurry & unwrap these presents before he rushed off to work.
The next Sunday was my "Mother's Day".  Vic spoiled me with 3600 calories (ha, I counted & enjoyed them all!)  He did a great job letting me relax.  Here is a picture of my new haircut.  I spent more than I've ever spent because I wanted a really nice haircut & I think she did a bad job.  I tried to tell her right then & she was double booked & behind so she didn't care :(  I feel like I'm ready to fly to Idaho just to get my old girl back!
We went to the ward camp out up until 10pm.  We finally used Vic's fancy camp grill that he bought for Father's Day 5 years ago!  It worked good & we had a fancy meal during our "half" camping experience.  I should have got a picture of him!  Tommy was obsessed with playing on this train a lot of the time.  I kind of wished it wasn't there as it was hard to get him to play the outdoor games that we brought because this train was so much more exciting.
He loved being able to play with a flashlight once night came & is pretty excited to be able to sleep in a tent.  I'll have to send him & Vic up by themselves some time.
Tucker is continually grinning from ear to ear so it seems like everything that happens is really funny to him.  It makes me laugh to see him smiling at everything all the time! Here he is at 3 months all spiffed up for church.
I was really hoping that when he turned 3 months the postpartum "fog" would wear off & my head would be clear, but I am still always so tired & stressed out.  3 kids, 3 & under is hard!  ....so you can imagine how happy this made me when I came home from work to find this waiting in the fridge for me.  If you can't read the note Vic wrote: "Nancy's stress reliever. I love you!" He hand made my favorite dessert: chocolate mousse and put it in my favorite fancy glass to relax with.  Haha, made me laugh then & now.  Vic is such a keeper :) :) :)
Vic has managed to train Tommy to love watching baseball already & now Tommy tries to make Tucker watch it with him when Daddy isn't home.  As Tommy's vocabulary is growing so is his personality.  It is a really fun time to watch him grow right now. He is such a cute & happy helper!

April Update

I started working again in April & the month FLEW by!
Vic's parents came to visit & we all loved having them here.
Me before I cut & darkened my hair (picture to come when I get another picture which isn't very often!)
I did a last minute trip to St. Louis by myself with the 3 kids so my brother's family & Dad could meet Tucker.  My camera lens was dirty so I only got 2 pictures! I am glad I got this one as I didn't know my dad was a board game player.  It was fun!
The other picture I got was of the crazy rain that just poured the entire trip there & back.  The fields were flooded right up to the interstate almost the entire 5 1/2 hours.  It was a stressful drive!
The next day was Whitney's birthday so we took her to Chuck E Cheese to ride the rides.  This is her favorite one she rode over & over.
I sat Whitney down in front of her cake & presents for a picture & she was in heaven.  She sat in this same spot for a good 20 minutes watching me get ready for her party.  She was very proud of her Dora cake.  (Another frustrating cake project for me, but shows how much I love bringing joy to my kids!!!)
Whitney's party friends
All the birthday presents
Cute picture of her playing with her new toys
Tucker is CONSTANTLY smiling.  I feel bad leaving him to get stuff done because he will continue to smile at me when I talk to him :) :)
It is fun to see him in the same outfits that I put Tommy in. I still think they are twins born 3 years apart.  Can you tell who is who?!  Tommy is on the left, Tucker on the right.
Tommy is obsessed with him still & always wants to be the one to sit or lay by him.
The next weekend we did March of Dimes with Vic's Kmart workers.  I would have never got into this without them, but I'm so glad I did as it is wonderful to hear everyone's stories & be so grateful for my own 3 healthy kids.
Afterwards they had a carnival with lots of free food, ice cream, face painting, & balloons.  The kids loved it & the weather was perfect.
We've had lots of rain so every day it didn't rain we raced to the park!
