Easter Week

When we had the biggest snow storm since we've lived here on Monday I was doubtful of a sunny Easter this year!  Since I had to work I told Vic to make me a snow bunny.  Here is his tiny little effort!  It was about 6 inches tall.
Vic sent me a text at work that said "Be prepared to be amazed."  What I wasn't prepared for was to laugh my head off at his snowman.  It looked like he made 3 snowman & then stuck a head on the middle one so he was very long & awkward with fishing poles for arms & giant oranges for the eyes.  Vic said he tried to make a circle, but couldn't get the shape quite right. HAHA, reminds me of his pictionary skills.  I love this. I think it will forever bring a smile to my face every time I look at it because it is so classic Vic.  He tries so hard, but never gets it quite right.  It's what I love about him! :) :)
By Saturday the snow all melted & the school near us did a hunt with 15,000 eggs.  I thought the field looked pretty cool with all the eggs on it.
Whitney was in shock when the horn went off & just looked around at all the action.  Vic finally jumped over the fence to help her, but she only wanted to pick up a few & open them so here is all she came out with.
Tommy happily ran around & gathered until his bucket was full! He was the oldest of his age group so he had an advantage.
We decorated eggs Saturday night.  I think if I'd let him, Tommy would have painted all the eggs a dark blue.
...and Whitney would have peeled them all. She thought it was fun to crack them.  I was surprised how long she entertained herself with this egg & chattering away to herself while I helped Tommy.
 Tommy and his beautiful eggs.
Right before the hunt.
Tommy had a ball picking up eggs.  I added the eggs from the day before & it was too many eggs for him to pick up so we were out there for awhile!
Whitney was excited for about 10 eggs & then just wanted to carry around baskets & watch Tommy.
She found everyone's baskets for them.  Even when I asked her to put Tommy's back 3 times she still pulled it out & dragged it to him.
 Tommy, Whitney, & Grandpa Sutherland
All of our spoils!  Once again, Kmart Clearance made us really come out good! Tucker is under the blanket on Grandma's lap!
Love these 2 cute little guys!
I really didn't think about doing anything fun for the table this year. Shame on me!
We blessed Tucker on Easter as well.  He was quite happy about it!
His smiles are so sweet. They make me happy :)

Everyday Life

While my mom was here she took a million pictures which tends to drive me bonkers, but I have to say that I love that she captured our everyday life that I never think to take pictures of.  So here is a blog of our boring everyday life!....
Whitney loving on Tucker. Both Whitney & Tommy love to get in his face & can't stand that he sleeps so much so they are constantly trying to wake him up.
Tommy getting jealous of Tummy time & a wrestling match starting.  These two LOVE to play together, but 90% of the time it ends in fighting.
Tommy, the helper. He insists you don't help so it makes it hard to get things done some times... especially vacuuming.
Whitney wants to be close by & since we spend a lot of time in the kitchen then she has made a playhouse out of this cupboard.  They both like to get in there, but Whitney will shut herself in there & sit in silence for quite awhile!
Tucker likes to hang out on the couch & look like a stud :)
Jack, the friend Tommy talks about all the time.
We go on walks almost daily so nice to have a picture of our favorite place to walk to.
Trees growing out of the water, something we aren't used to seeing in Idaho!
 Whitney on ice!
Tommy spends 90% of his play time with trains... and seeing a pile of crashed trains is very common.  It made me smile when I saw this picture so I'm sure I'll treasure it down the road when he no longer plays with trains.

Lastly.... giving loves.  Lots of sitting on the couch holding & adoring our baby (and the jealous big babies too!)
