March Happenings

I'm always getting after the kids to clean up the basement, but when I found them like this, how could one get mad?!  They look so cute with their stuffie/movie/sleepover all planned out!
The kids couldn't wait to get out on their new 4 wheelers so we took them to the hills on a sunny day.

We visited Vic's family in Twin Falls and hiked around Shoshone Falls.

And another stuffie sleepover in Tommy's room.
Spirit week at school... crazy hair day.  Tommy loved his, Whitney said she looked freaky and HATED her hair! (oops!)

Tucker was feeling left out, so I did his hair for him too.
 Super hero day!
Princess Day... Whitney felt that Tucker needed to be Elsa to compliment her Anna outfit!
I finally had time to teach Whitney to braid hair.  She loves practicing and I like someone brushing my hair.
Whitney had the sweetest kindergarten teacher.  Here is her report.

St. Patrick's Day

I surprised the kids by having a green breakfast set up for them in the morning.
Also, a leprechaun turned our milk green so that made our breakfast extra festive.
I packed Vic & Tommy a healthy green lunch.
We had the same at home.  The kids were pretty excited about it.

I also sent them on our annual treasure hunt.

It's been so long, I can't remember what we did for dinner! (go to my mom's?!)

Miami Beach/Crandon Park

We exited the ship around 9am and drove to Crandon Park, a key just south of Miami Beach.  The kids had a lot of fun discovering geckos, palm branches, and dried up coconut shells.

The water was beautiful and teal.
Vic decided to get a swim workout in.
The sand was kind of dirty, but the kids didn't mind.

Beautiful waters with Miami beach in the background.

We found a washed up sea creature.  We stayed most of the afternoon before we had to go catch a late flight back home.

Blue Lagoon, Bahamas

Another tie for our favorite day!  We took a fairy boat over to Blue Lagoon, a private secluded island with beautiful beaches.  Here we are in front of our ship.
We loved the ride over. The beaches and ocean was beautiful.

Even in the deep parts of the ocean, it was a brilliant turquoise.
It was a really windy day, but this lagoon was protected so we spent most of the day here.

This is a terrible angle of me, but it's fun to see what I'm doing most of the time.

After a late lunch we decided to roam the island a little.
They had a cute path that went around the island, but we didn't have time for it.
We went to the ocean side of the island, which was a wonderful surprise.

The kids LOVED the waves and forgot about the cold water.
I love this picture because it shows Vic going way out, Tommy trying to catch up, and my two munchkins playing around the shallow area.

Mom taking pictures of me taking pictures again!

We were so busy all week that we never had time to let the kids get endless pizza and ice cream so on the last night we skipped our dinner and hit the pool deck for dinner.  The kids were really happy about that!
Our last final good bye show.
