Disney Cruise: Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay was one of my favorite days of the entire vacation.  Vic and I started the day with a 5K.  Here we are at the top of the lookout tower that views most of the island.

I love this picture!  I only wish we'd met up with my mom and the other kids so we could've had a family picture.

The kids loved the kid cove and it was nice to have time alone with Vic on the beach.

This was such an adorable moment.  Tucker had stars in his eyes for Mickey and Mickey was delighted that he was on Tucker's swim suit.  Here is Tucker showing off his swim suit to Mickey.

The kids loved the water slide, but the water was freezing cold so they only braved it a few times.

This picture is my happy place! We're in the adult only beach area and it was beautiful and secluded.
Our family with the cruise ship!
Everyone loaded the ship early and we enjoyed the island to ourselves for an hour!

 Pirate Night!

Our waiter got Vic a bowl of figs, he was pretty happy about that.
On the top deck waiting for the pirate fight to start.
Mickey saved the day and shot out fireworks out of his wand.  The kids were all caught in the magic of this moment.  Afterwards Tommy decided he was once again a Mickey fan. (before he thought he'd grown too old to like him)
