Disney World: Animal Kingdom

We finally got up early enough to be one of the first into the park.  We went straight to Cali River Rapids and walked right on.  The first time Tucker & Vic got a little wet.
The second time around I got DRENCHED!  I didn't dry out for hours!
And since we were all wet and there was no line, we went a 3rd time!
After our wet fun, we headed to dino land.  Tommy is obsesses with dinosaurs right now so this was paradise for him!  Tommy pretended to like the scary dark dinosaur ride, but I'm pretty sure it terrified all the kids!

We played in the dino dig area for quite awhile and since it was day 3 of Disney in a row, we were happy to sit back and relax while the kids played.
The workers had buckets in piles set out & Whitney took it upon herself to make this little display.

There's a giant ape behind mom's head.  This is in the Gorilla Trails area.

The highlight, as always, was the African Safari.  This was everyone's favorite part.
Whitney has loved alligators since she was a toddler so this is a perfect shot!

We were so lucky to have this rhino walk right up on us!

My second favorite part of Disney world is the Lion King show.  It has such a great variety of talent!

 Rafiki Island
We ended the day dancing to an African Music concert.  This was such a fun day!

We did one last show (Bug's Life) while waiting for the night show to start.
There was just way too much to see and do! Days like this was why I love Disney so much!!!
