July Updates

It finally warmed up in July & we took full advantage of the nice weather!  We spent almost every morning and afternoon outside in our yard or at the park.  We had 5 kiddy pools set up all the time.

We had a few play dates with friends.
Tucker is especially obsessed with the new sand box. Every time I can't find him, I know he's out silently sneaking into the sand again.
We had lots of water fights, balloons, etc.

Tommy insisted on a neighborhood treasure hunt.  We had 9 kids running around following clues on a map!
We had more swim play dates!
We bought a zoo pass so we went there once a week.

Tommy going down the "big" slide at Rigby Lake.
Tommy insisted he swim every where we went.  He got a good workout as we were out in the middle of the lake for a couple of hours.  Vic and I also practiced swimming laps.
 Our frozen babes!
We also went down to Pocatello to have a sleepover with my best friend from college, Heather.
First we went to Ross Park Swimming Pool, had a hot dog roast, attempted a little softball, & stayed up way too late talking!  It's always so much fun with old friends! :)

 Whitney & Ellie
 Carter & Tommy
We also swung over to Twin Falls for Victor's niece's mission farewell, but I didn't get any pictures of that!

June Updates

All of Vic's days off in June were put toward SLC travel, but it was a pretty nice spring so we got out as often as we could.  We finally made it down to the river & let the kids feed the ducks.
Of course Tommy had more fun chasing them!

We also went out to visit my dad.  He's good with the kids, but even if he was mean I think the kids would still adore him simply for his cool house & toys.  Tommy is really into "mighty machines" right now & he LOVED his turn on the tractor.  Whitney did too, but she talks more about the animals & Grandma's giant stuffed horse :)

SLC visits

We had to go to Salt Lake several times during the month of May & June so instead of a really long day trip we decided to make one of Vic's appointments into a fun visit.
I've always wanted to stop at this little fishing lake off the I-15.  It was a good break from the driving.
I swear we could just rent a hotel right here in our home town & these two would be over the top excited. They always go nuts from the moment we check into the hotel.  Tommy's favorite thing he does right when we arrive (and pretty much until bedtime) is jump back & forth between the beds.  He is great at it, but Whitney barely made it every time!

 Hotel Pool

Seven Peaks (this will always be Raging Waters to me!)
My favorite is the simple lazy river.
 Vic loves the thrill rides.
...and Tommy loves the safe little kid area.  Vic took Tommy on a few of the big slides & Tommy told Vic that he loved it, but when I asked Tommy if he wanted to go again he said he'll save it for his next trip.

Overall, we had fun & we are SOOoo glad to be done with all of the doctor appointments.
