September Happenings

We signed Tommy up for his 1st flag football team.  He really loved when he got to run the ball and is fast so he was good at getting flags.

We went down to the temple to get pictures of Tommy and these 2 could hardly stand to be left out of the photo shoot! 

 Tommy is so sweet to Whitney.  She hates to blow dry her hair so Tommy happily jumps in helps.

 My friend Sara Bueler hosted this gorgeous backyard mad tea party.  It was so fancy!

 Tucker and I have extra time together with the kids back in school so we get to go to parks and go on walks together.

Nancy's 34th Birthday

Happy Birthday to me!

 I'm so old, I forgot I'm only 34!  Destiny & I started the day doing yoga in the park and walking the loop.

 We did my birthday treat at Jamba Juice to try to stay on the healthy side!

 Heather came down to take me to lunch and we did a few initiatory in the temple.

 I went shopping and got my own birthday gift!!

 I love Garcias so we went there for dinner

Back To School Time

It's Back to School time!

Tucker started Preschool at Apple Athletic where the other 2 went.  He was SOOO excited to finally be able to go and to have something that is special to do just for him.

Whitney started 1st grade and was really excited to be officially a big kid and go to school all day.  She was so excited to be able to pack a lunch and have 2 recesses.

 Tommy started 2nd grade.  He knew his teacher beforehand and was really excited to start with Mrs. Rehfield.

The kids favorite thing about starting school back up is that I do a surprise after school snack every day for the first week or so.

 Tucker started preschool and when they started learning their letters, his friend said she could read (which she couldn't, but she was trying) Anyway, Tucker is so smart. I showed him how to read a Bob book and he picked it up immediately and never had to try learning sight words.  He picked it up so fast and became an instant reader!  He's such a smartie!

Kitchen Makeover

Another busy thing I crammed into August was kitchen and bathroom makeovers!  I have had a hard time deciding what counters and back splash I want and I finally decided to bite the bullet and upgrade the kitchen and fireplace!  I am so happy with the results, but it has made me realize that I still want to paint the kitchen cabinets and walls... that can be next year's project!  Before pictures are taken from the listing prior to us because I didn't take any pictures from when we did the trim work and paint.
