February Happenings

In February I finally got the guts to tatoo my eyebrows.  I've hated how thin they are for years so it was fun to finally add some shape to them!

 I gave my mom a makeover.  She loved it, but never does her hair or makeup!

 Our kids went all out on mismatch day.  They were soooo cute picking our their own outfits!!

We had lots of basketball practices and games.

 Our school hosts the nicest STEM night that kids the kids excited about medical & mat careers.

Tucker's Merpup 6th Birthday Party!

Our baby turned 6!  It is so hard to see your adorable toddlers grow into big kids, but Tucker still loves PAW Patrol so that makes it easier to see him growing so big!   He is still our sweet little boy that gives us sweet smiles, winks, hugs,& cuddles.  He's also crazy smart.  All the kids adore him in his class and openly tell each other that he's the smartest one.  He loves being kind and friendly to everyone and has 5 girls that adore him.  His passion is playing sports and playing with his Paw Patrol dogs. This is the 3rd year in a row that Tucker insisted on a PAW Patrol party so we mixed it up by playing on the MerPup episodes and made it a Mer-pup party.  The kids all came over for cake, ice cream, & presents, and then we went to the pool to play relay games with plastic dog bones.

For dinner we took Tucker to his favorite restaurant, Texas Rhodehouse.  He was one happy birthday boy!

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was super simple around our house this year.  I threw up a few decorations the week of and made a cute breakfast for the kids.  I was room mom for both of the boys' classes and room helper mom for Whitney's so I ran from Valentine party to Valentine party all day long!

Whitney got her first crush this year and made a cute card for Sawyer.  Then on top of that she gave him a secret admirer card, money, & candy.  The whole class exploded with excitement of trying to figure out who it was and cute little Whitney was so embarrassed that she came home bawling her eyes out.  I called Sawyer's mom & she said it was the cutest thing ever and that it made his year.  He came home beaming and excited.

Tucker has found another girl ready to marry him and he happily gave her a necklace and stuffie.  He doesn't really get the "crush" thing, but he adores his best friend Allie.

West Yellowstone Snow Paradise!

We went to West Yellowstone for their kids & snow weekend and we had a blast!  They had a welcome center where the kids made snow crowns and then we headed out to go on mini snowmobiles.  The kids loved riding around the snow track.  We checked out snow shoes and we all did that for the first time.  It was pretty much exactly like hiking, but in the snow.  Vic and I loved it, but the kids didn't like all the hard work!  It was beautiful with light snow falling down all around us.

One of the coolest things was having the dog sleigh pull the kids around.  

We also put them all in ice skates for their 2nd time.  They improved a  lot since last year where they couldn't even stand up on their own.  This year they skated around with a hockey stick and even tried to do turns.  At night they had a sledding party with the snowmobiles, hot chocolate, ice skating, & roasting marshmallows.  It was a blast & we stayed out way longer than we thought we would!

 On day 2 we went to the Bear & Wolf Discovery center and  it was pouring down wet snow so we dressed for snow play and went out!  The kids crafted pine cones and books for at least an hour in the visitor center.  We then had to drive through the scariest whiteout roads to get home for the superbowl!
