I've had a lot of fun with the kids on April Fool's Day. This year I packed all their lunches and put veggies in their gold fish bag, gold fish in their raisin bag, and made little Styrofoam squares look like cake bites. Tucker was a really good sport and thought it was hilarious. The other two were mad they got tricked! We spent most of April working on our house remodel. We tore out the floors and put all new floors throughout our new addition, kitchen, living room, bathroom, & office. It took forever to move our stuff out, put up the new trim, wainscoting, paint, & then move back in. I was so tired of the work and the dust at the end!
I enrolled the kids in GRIT kid races and they had 4 races that had different obstacles each race. Tommy got first in the senior league almost every time. Tucker came in 2nd or 3rd a few times and BEAT Whitney! She tried just hard enough to keep up with him, but he was in better shape so he always ended up beating her. He's such a competitor!
Amber treated my mom and I to a concert. It was fun to get out on a week night!
