June Happenings

Vic and I went to 2nd chance prom.  We started out the date at Smokin Fins, a new fancy seafood restaurant in town then we met up with the Buehlers to dance the night away!

 We did a 7.5 mile loop with the kids around our river and parks.  It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

 For Father's Day we went up to Island Park.  Vic LOVES being in the mountains.  We had a lot of fun swimming, kayaking, and playing on the 4wheelers.  We also stopped by scout camp on the way home to visit my mom and Mark.

SLC trip

We did a 3 day weekend down in SLC.  The first day we took pictures of Whitney at the capitol building and temple square and swam at our hotel.  The next day we visited Temple Square and toured the conference center then we went to the SLC Botanical Gardens.  They were so beautiful and had miles of hikes to explore.

 The final day we went to Lagoon.  The kids had a blast.  Tucker is still so cute and little and wanted to do all of the little kid rides that Whitney and Tommy wanted nothing to do with.  Tucker also was the only one brave enough to go on Wicked with me!  Tommy claims that he hates heights, but he loved going on Colossus (a roller coaster that goes upside down twice).

This year the kids were old enough to run around together by themselves at the swimming area so it was refreshing to be able to lay back, relax, and recoup enough energy to chase after the kids on rides all night!
