May Happenings

Here is Mother's day.
Vic scheduled himself to work so it wasn't anything special this year. I did get some pretty pink flowers from the kids & good smelling lilacs from my dad.  I had Vic paint our half bathroom yellow too.  I love it!
We stayed in a hotel when we went to Twin so we had a swim party with Vic's family.  There was so many people there I was surprised the hotel staff didn't kick them out!  I was too busy to get a picture, but here are the kids the next day!
Tommy has gotten so much better at swimming by himself & "diving" into the water. He dives in & then does a flip under water.  I love that he is so confident in the water.
Vic & his buddy we went to visit in Twin Falls.
Our kids play together well :)
We went to PROM! Here is our double date with the Drapers.  We have a new restaurant in town that I love.
The guy was quite entertaining cooking our meal
 He even did baton twirling!
Afterwards we went to 2nd chance prom.  There was supposed to be a photographer, but she got hung up last minute so we made the most of the balloons :)

Tommy graduated preschool!!  We made 60 of these cupcakes & Peppridge Farm sticks to look like graduation caps & diplomas.  Tommy loved making & eating them!
Tommy's teacher: he never really connected with her, but she was really good & loving.  Tommy  said his favorite thing from this year was story time & game time.  He also said that when he grows up he wants to be an excavator driver so he can build his own restaurant & be a chef.

Here is Tommy & his two carpool friends: Nathan & Addalyn.  Tommy is all about making friends in the neighborhood, but he was shy at school & didn't talk to anyone. It's weird to see because he is so vocal & happy at home & when we have friends over so hopefully next year in kindergarten he'll socialize a little more!
It rained all Memorial Day weekend so we stayed home & got together with some friends to play games & have a camp fire at Mom's house.
Whitney & I had a mommy date & went out to eat & to a movie in the park.
She was all about the treats!  Here she is with a snow cone stained chin :)
Vic took Tommy & Tucker on a father/son over night with my mom's ward.
 They of course loved it!

We went to the farmer's market with Dad & Lana.  It rained for weeks & then the sun decided to come out & boil us all.  It was a very nice change, but oh so hot!
Tommy has been looking forward to driving Grandpa's tractor for weeks so he's pretty happy in this picture!!

Tucker was quite obsessed too.  We had to bribe him to get him out!
I LOVE this picture!  Horses are such beautiful beasts!
Tucker is all wild boy.  He had a hay day & didn't want to leave when it was time to go!
I wish we had big old trees in our yard, it'd be so fun to build forts & swings like this in!
Overall we had a very busy month!!!
