December was crazy busy for us. We were trying to finish up all of the flips that got started in October and November and do lots of festive activities. We started off with the kids seeing Santa & the festival of trees. Tommy really didn't want to sit on Santa's lap, but he wanted a present from him so he did.
We ran a 1 mile Christmas themed fun run. The weather couldn't have been more perfect!
I jogged with Tucker. I was so impressed with him, he ran the whole way and pushed Whitney to go faster, I even had to short cut a little to keep up with him! He's only 4!! Tommy took off and was too far ahead for me to see him, but a friend told me that he came in right with all the fastest runners that were older than him. He's such a fast runner!
My mom brough Amber's kids and walk/jogged with them.
The weather was so nice that we let the kids play in the snow for quite awhile after the race was over.
We went to Bish's toy drive and had hot chocolate and fireworks to Christmas music. It was beautiful and festive.
Vic & I coached Tommy & Whitney's basketball team. They both did so good!
Whitney kept right up with the 2nd grade boys, she felt like she wasn't that good, but she really did amazing.
Tommy is so tall that he got most of the rebounds and shot it right over everyone's heads.
He got fouled a lot and would get quite frustrated. He'll be happy when he's in a league where they call fouls!
Tucker was so cute! When we didn't have enough players, we would put Tucker out there for our 5th man and thought he'd help a little on defense, but he was really good at defense and getting the ball!
Vic had fun pulling the kids around on the 4wheeler
The kids really look forward to my countdown tree. I put a prize, activity, and a joke in every bag.
We had so much fun doing the 12 days of Christmas last year for a family in need that we decided to do it again. This year we picked one of our friends that was getting trouble after trouble dumped on them so we thought they'd like a little extra Christmas cheer. We totally thought they caught us on the first week, but when we finally revealed ourselves on Christmas Eve, they had no idea it was us!
Each of the kids had a school play for us to go watch. Here is Tucker in his adorable reindeer hat.
Tommy at his school play.

The kids LOVE crafting so I tried to squeeze in some craft time as well!
Whitney was begging for me to make some Christmas themed food and got tired of waiting so she made her own. I think she did really good!
Tucker was my little errand buddy running to all the stores to make the magic happen!
We had movie night with the Hills and made some festive popcorn.
The kids did lots of festive baking with Grandma on their day with her.
