New Year's Eve/Day

Our plans at the cabin always evolve around what Amber wants to do and this year she stayed from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve so we went up on the 30th to play games and go sledding together.

Sam & Tommy loved playing in the snow more than sledding.
They also hit their fair share of jumps together!

Vic & Uncle Evan played hard with the kids.
Amber left New Year's Eve afternoon so we had our friends, the Wheelers, come up for a New Year's Eve party.  I got all the kids their own mini sparkling cider bottles and they thought they were so cool!
We put our party ball outside to have our dance party and that was so much fun!  It looked magical having the light bounce off the snow and trees.
After playing around we did our "midnight" cheer around 10 with the kids and lit fireworks off from the dock.  It was so perfect!
After the kids went to bed we played games until midnight and then my mom stayed behind to watch the kids and the Wheelers and us went over to watch the fireworks that Lakeside Lodge put on.  This was one of my favorite New Year's Eve in a long time.  We had a blast!

The next day we viewed all of the Island's snow sculptures.  People are getting pretty amazing!
We took the Wheelers sledding on the sledding hill and went home from there.
