The rain forest was a 3 hour drive away from the airport so we got to see a lot of cow farms, rivers, mountains, & jungle on the way to our hikes. We thought it was interesting that every square miles seemed to be fenced off and they used all sorts of materials. The funniest was the fences made of trees they planted all in a row.
