After traveling and hiking for 3 days, a day soaking in hot springs was the perfect relaxing day! Everywhere we looked was beauty in these warm rivers. These pictures couldn't capture just how pretty the black clear river was.

Costa Rica: Wildlife Trail
One of my main goals on this trip was to see a neon colored frog! We went to the Bogarin Wildlife trail just for that and searched for frogs all over and couldn't find any. A guide finally helped us find a few frogs and they were as tiny as a beetle and kind of dark and gross like a bug! I was so disappointed!

Costa Rica: La Fortuna Waterfall
This hike was straight down a million stairs that went down into a crater. It was worth the stair hike as we had fun swimming under the waterfall! Vic found a hidden hike beyond the waterfall and loved running through the jungle all by himself.
Costa Rica: Mistico Hanging Bridges
This was one of my favorite parts of the entire trip. We got soaked because it rained on us the entire time and our view was blocked by clouds, but we did get to hike in the clouds! At the end, we stopped for lunch because the restaurant w/ glass walls seemed so grand overlooking the valley. The sun came out while we were eating, and to our surprise there was Arenal Volcano under all those clouds! We had so much fun watching the clouds slowly lift to give us a grand view. Once again, we were tempted to re-hike the trail with the sun out, but we had more hikes on our itinerary that we had to get to!
