Siesta Key Beach

I figured if we were going to Florida, then we better make sure to check out America's #1 beach so we spent a day at Siesta Key.  The sand here is white quartz so it never gets hot!  That was nice not to have to worry about, but I missed the palm trees, teal water, & more privacy.  It was perfect in the morning, but by time we left this place was a zoo & even took 20 minutes just to exit the parking lot.

Katie & Brennon didn't want to try the paddle board so after they left our whole family went out for a ride & we spent most of our day out on it taking turns.  It was pretty fun to have a different toy to play with while at the beach.  Tommy was obsessed with holding the ankle cord & being pulled around by that.  He was so upset when it was time to go as he loved his "boat".  Poor Tucker fell asleep in his tube a couple of times while we were out there. I guess the gentle waves rocked him right to sleep!  He was such a good sport :)

You rented a paddle board? Pam and Danny bought one for our Labor Day camping trip, it was a lot of fun. I would like to have one of my own. I had to look close to see that Victor was standing on the paddle board.
